My name is Dave Carey, and I'm the producer of Spirit For Spirits (@SpiritForSpirits), a brand new Bartender Battle Show that just debuted on YouTube. My partner in the project, host Albert Pero III, and I are very excited about the release. We think we've created something unique in the cocktail world, and we'd love to share it with you and your audience.

Each episode is based around a particular classic cocktail and a "signature spirit" that is the base for our cocktail battle. Albert visits a cool bar and challenges a talented bartender to a duel - their best variation on a classic against his.

In preparation for the battles, the viewer accompanies Albie on full tours of amazing distilleries across the country (Whistle Pig, Angel's Envy, etc) where he learns all about the spirits and the classic recipes. Once mastered, it's time to do battle!

Viewers get to see a mixology showdown as Albert puts his new twist on a classic one-on-one against some of the best original cocktail creations. The patrons who are at the bar get to sample the competitors' concoctions and vote on which they think is best, and we find out which bartender has the most Spirit For Spirits.

The full 5 episode first season is streaming now on YouTube, and our channel has a bunch of additional content as well. "Quick Classics" is a short tutorial series, "Locally Sourced" shines a light on interesting small businesses that are local to the distilleries we feature in the main show, and "Behind The Stick" is a step-by-step guide on how to set up your home bar from Albie's home bar.

I was hoping to set up an interview or guest spot on your podcast to share all that we are doing. This entire no-budget project was created by just the two of us, and we are excited to spread the word.
